The project language is English. This applies to code, comments in code, commit messages, documentation, ticketing system, ...
When working on existing documentation written in German please translate this to English.
We use git as our version control system. Furthermore our git repository is hosted on GitHub.
In order to not expose your real email address we recommend that you use your Github-provided no-reply email address. Instructions can be found here.
Please make sure that you have a GitHub account and git locally installed before proceeding. Additionally, it is required to have an IDE. We provide settings/configurations for some IDEs. If you want to use a different IDE please make sure that your configuration is compatible.
